PROMPERU organized a workshop “Peru in Paris” in France
With the objective of launching the diversification of offers based on community/unifying tourism, the office of PROMPERU in France organized the workshop “Peru in Paris”, with the participation of 20 companies who offer tourist services.
Abercrombie & Kent, Air Europa, Amahuaca, Amazon, River Lodge Heliconia, Belmond, Face au Perou, Hotels Hacienda del Peru, Iberia, Machu Picchu Train and Inkaterra arrived to the Parisian event. Jungel Experiences, Latam Airlines, Latin American Trips, Mundo America, Quimbaya Latin America, CulturAndes, Sociedad de Hoteles del Peru SHP, Solmartour, South American Destination and Viajes Pacifico also participated.
During the workshop around a hundred registered French companies (among them tour operators, travel agencies and specialized press) held business meetings with Peruvian expositors and were able to enjoy the different gourmet specialties such as tiradito de pescado, aji de gallina, seco de carne with yuca, quinoa salad, lucuma mousse among others.
PROMPERU, through its commercial office in France, thanked the interest of the attendees in the Peruvian culture and recognized the vigorous growth of the demand for the Inca destiny in the French market that between January and October of 2019 reported an evolution of 9% thanks to the work of both the State and the private sector.
In the same way, I invite the clients of the workshop’s attendees to register to participate to the next edition of Peru Travel Mart, that will take place from May 22nd to the 25th of the current year in the city of Lima.
The number of French companies registered in the event (taking place in the Le Colisee room at the foothill of the Elysian Fields) shows that Peru is more and more in the interest of the professionals in the sector who wish to find out news about this destiny.
With the objective of continuing to motivate tourism professional who attended the workshop “Peru in Paris” it was raffled different prizes donated by many of the expositors. Likewise, thanks to the support of Intipalka, the attendees were able to enjoy our emblematic cocktail Pisco Sour as well as white, red and rose wine.
