Palccoyo Mountain


Palccoyo, the other colorful mountain that will surprise us in Cusco. Located in the town of Palccoyo (4,900 m.a.s.l.) on the other side of the mountain range, it invites us to get to know it in a more accessible way and with less complicated stretches of walking. The panoramic view of these mountains is stunning, finding us in a place where we can stop the time and enjoy the silence that the place provides us next to the mystical Stone Forest.

  • ¿How to get there?
    To get to Palccoyo, we must follow the following route:
    Road trip from the city of Cusco to Checacupe (approximately 2 hours).
    From Checacupe we continue to the Town of Palccoyo.
    Walk from the town of Palccoyo to the mountain (approximately 1 hour).
Departure from Cusco to start the road trip (approximately 3 hours) We will past through the town of Checacupe, where we will observe 3 bridges: Inca, Colonial and Republicano.
