DAY 1: —–/LIMA | INC: –
Arrival in Lima, meet and greet at the airport, transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay in Lima.
* Please take note that check-in at hotels in Lima is at 15.00hrs, therefore in case of early arrivals, passengers should wait at the lobby until check-in time, otherwise book the room a day earlier.
DAY 2: LIMA | INC: B/-/-
In the morning, we will have a tour through Lima’s streets and plazas. Starting at “Parque del Amor” in Miraflores, with a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean, and then we are heading to the Huaca Pucllana, ceremonial center of the Lima culture, for a panoramic view. After this, we go on to the Main Square where the Government Palace and the Town Hall are located. We will visit the Cathedral and explore the Santo Domingo Convent, along which corridors San Martin de Porres and San Rosa de Lima used to walk around in 17th century, and where their remains rest today.
* Please not the Cathedral is closed on Saturdays PM and Sundays AM and in some holidays, instead we eill visit Huaca Huallamarca.
In the afternoon (at 16:00hrs), let’s experience the capital city of Lima with a different style. We will begin our exploration by learning more about the ancient Peruvian inhabitants in the Larco Museum, hosted in a colonial mansion unique of its kind that dates back to the 18th century, and built on top of a Pre-Columbian pyramid of the 7th century. We will tour the halls and galleries where each piece is a book to be opened. We will continue our visit by heading to an antique Tavern, where we will delight our palates with some delicious Peruvian sandwiches not to be missed, accompanied by a drink made of Pisco, our flagship liquor. Finally, we will head for the Magic Water Circuit, the largest water and light show in Latin America. We will witness the greatest show of Ornamental Fountains where there is perfect communion and harmony of water, light, music and images.

DAY 3: LIMA/CUSCO | INC: B/-/-
Transfer to the airport and flight to Cusco. On arrival, meet and greet at the airport, transfer to hotel.
* We suggest booking a flight arriving in Cusco, no later than 11.00hrs.
In the afternoon, we will climb up the Archaeological Park of Sacsayhuaman, and start our excursion visiting the fortress with the same name, a beautiful place that radiates peace and quiet, where we will be able to admire the huge rocks measuring up to 4 meters high that were used in its construction. We will then head for Q’enqo, and ancient temple of the Puma, where we will be able to appreciate an altar for sacrifices in the inner part of a huge rock, and then Tambomachay, sacred fountains of life and health. On the way we will have a panoramic view from Puca Pucara, a watchtower that controlled the entrance to the city. After that we will visit the Temple of the Sun “The Korikancha”, on top of which the Saint Dominique Convent was built. A legend tells that his temple was entirely lined in gold sheets that marveled the Conquistadors upon their arrival. Finally, we will go to the Main Square and will visit the Cathedral that reassures invaluable colonial paintings and other works of art such as the Cross that arrived with the first conquerors.

DAY 4: CUSCO/SACRED VALLEY/CUSCO | INC: B/L/-
FD Maras – Moray (Biking & Hiking).
After the pickup from your hotel, we will transfer you to Cruzpata on Maras’s plateau, where we will start our mountain bike adventure enjoying lovely views of impressive Andean peaks, many cactus plants and Andean villagers on their daily activities, until reach Moray, optional visit of the Inca experimental agricultural terraces of Moray. A picnic lunch will be provided here. After a short rest we will start with the hiking part, walking for approximately two and half hours until Maras Salt mines, we will visit it and the return to the hotel.
Includes: Briefing (orientation meeting), private transportation from hotel to start point of ride and from end of ride to hotel, professional bilingual mountain bike guide, First-aid Kit, repairing kit, front-suspension mountain bike, helmet, gloves, water re-fill, picnic lunch, entrance fees to Maras.
Duration: 2h30m of Biking and 2h30m of Hiking approximately.

DAY 5: CUSCO/MACHU PICCHU| INC: B/-/D
This morning, pick-up from your hotel to take you to Ollantaytambo station to board train to Machu Picchu. A train trip away to see one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. We arrive at the Aguas Calientes station where our staff will assist us on boarding the bus to go up the winding road to Machu Picchu, amid a spectacular view of the Urubamba River and its canyon. The Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu, will astonish us with its terraces, ceremonial shrines, steps and urban areas. Energy is all around us. Afterwards, back to the town.

DAY 6: MACHU PICCHU/CUSCO | INC: B/-/-
Second day in Machu Picchu by clients own (guided tour, entrance fees or shuttle bus tickets to return to the citadel are NOT included this day).
Entrance tickets to Machu Picchu are limited. We suggest applying for the entrance tickets for later dates at the moment you book the whole tour program so as to avoid any complications due to congestions or lack of local availability. In an additional visit to Machu Picchu we will be able to see the areas of the Intipunku or Door of the Sun, the Inca Trail entrance to the citadel. For those looking for a more intense adventure and wish to visit Huayna Picchu, it is important to have in mind that there are only 400 daily spots to climb the mountain, all of which have to be reserved in advance.
At the arranged time, we will return to Cusco by train and will be transferred to the hotel.

DAY 7: CUSCO | INC: BXB/BXL/-
FD 7-COLOR MOUNTAIN- Vinicunca Ausangate
Very early in the morning, we will start our journey across Valle Sur toward Quechuyno, which is the starting point of our hike to the Cerro Colorado or 7-color Mountain, located about 100 km. southeast of Cusco city. After enjoying a traditional breakfast in the area, we will start our 3 and a half hour hike to reach the control center and enter this mystical place. During our walk we will observe how colors around us change due to the weather. We will reach an altitude of 5000 meters, approximately, which is the top of this mysterious mountain. Geological formations will reveal all its splendor; the contrast of the blue sky creates a formidable line between the coast desert and the Amazon jungle, guided by the beautiful Ausangate.

Apu Q’ente – AM Paraglider in Sacro Mountain
Fly in paraglider above Sacro Mountain that is located 45 km to the north from Cusco city, it is in the itinerary Cusco – Chinchero – Urubamba.
