The Pirate Party Boat in Yarinacocha: An unforgettable experience for those visiting Pucallpa
Pucallpa’s notable commercial growth, which has taken place over the last few years, has resulted in the arrival of more airlines and an increase of flight frequencies to the city. The city’s hotel infrastructure also has evolved. These factors facilitate the arrival of tourists and visitors, and offer a new variety of options and level of comfort in this fascinating jungle city, which provides a variety of attractions. In response to the increase in tourists, Qallwa Hotels has created and launched a new kind of touristic experience: the Party Pirate Boat, which as of July 2019, navigates the waters of the Yarinacocha Lagoon, providing visitors with a new entertainment option never before seen in Pucallpa.
The ship has two covered areas that can hold a maximum of 150 passengers, and features separate men’s and women’s restrooms on both the first and second levels. Guests can enjoy a variety of cocktails and snacks as they groove to the live beats of a talented local DJ, and observe the local flora and fauna in and around the lagoon. This service is directed to different groups, and is ideal for an assortment of celebratory events, like, anniversaries, birthdays, and is also great for professional development retreats, and school or university class trips. The boat has a professional staff, trained to offer first class service to all who board. It is also equipped with up-to-date security features. Qallwa Hotels has invested about S/. 340,000 (approximately U.S.$ 106,000) into the development of this project, with the goal of attracting interest from both individual visitors and travel agencies alike.
