Peru considered one of the “Best Countries in The World” according to prestigious Conde Nast Traveler Magazine
Conde Nast Traveler Magazine has put together its ranking of the “Best Countries in the World” after collecting survey data from over 600 thousand readers.
Promperú announced that Peru has been included in the prestigious Condé Nast Traveler Magazine’s important list of the “Best Countries in the World,” a list that the magazine compiles each year for its renown “Reader’s Choice Awards”, based on the results of surveys taken from over 600,000 of its readers.
In response to the news, executive president of Promperú – Luis Torres Paz – stated that “these awards inspire us to keep working for the development and professionalization of the tourism sector, providing formal, high quality, and safe services for the over 4.4 million travelers who visit our country each year.”
The executive also highlighted the fact that more satisfied tourists means more foreign currency brought into the country, which benefits all Peruvians. Likewise, the private sector was recognized in two categories in which the Peruvian hotel chain, Aranwa´s Cusco hotels stood out.
In addition, Lima’s Country Club Hotel, and Cusco’s Inkaterra La Casona, Belmond Hotel, and JW Marriott were all featured in the magazine’s list of ‘The Top 30 Hotels in South America.’
It is worth noting that the Condé Nast Traveler Reader’s Choice Awards are the most respected awards of their kind within the travel industry, and are considered to include “the best of the best of the travel world.” The complete results will be available in the magazine’s November edition, which will be released in the United States and the United Kingdom.
