Paracas and its new north circuit
The Paracas National Reserve has beautiful landscapes and it is well preserved, which makes it the second most visited nature reserve in the country, after Pacaya Samiria.
For this reason, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR) has developed some projects along 15 kilometers of the northern circuit.
The head of MINCETUR commented that some of these works include: checkpoints, viewpoints with a roof, parking lots and, in addition, floors with Nazca and Paracas patterns, infographics and restrooms.
“Twelve locations were built as part of the National Copesco Plan, an entity attached to the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism. The investment added up to a total of 18 million and 60,019 soles. The objective is that visitors enjoy the natural surroundings of Paracas National Reserve, its impressive landscapes and marine diversity, said MINCETUR’s representative.
Some of the new works in the new north circuit of the Reserve are:
Santo Domingo Checkpoint, Supay Viewpoint, Yumaque Viewpoint, Yumaque Beach Camp, Isthmus Viewpoint and Playa Roja Viewpoint.
These works, which are part of Paracas north circuit, began in February 2016, and to date, they have received more than 250 thousand visitors and they are waiting for more. If you like adventure, the beach and beautiful landscapes, this is the tour you are looking for, an improved tour to enjoy without any problem.
