LATAM AIRLINES PERU WILL BEGIN DIRECT FLIGHTS BETWEEN LIMA AND ILO
Celebrating its 20-year anniversary of flight operation, LATAM Airlines Peru has announced the twentieth city it will include in its fight repertoire. Starting on the 20th of March, 2019, the airline will become the first to operate direct flights between Lima and Ilo (Moquegua). Flights will be offered three times per week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
“Twenty years have passed since this great dream with LATAM Airlines Peru began. With this new direct flight to Ilo, the twentieth city within Peru that we are going to operate flights to, we celebrate that we continue to contribute to dreams arriving at their destinations,” commented Manuel van Oordt, General Manager of LATAM Airlines Peru.
The sale of tickets for this destination begins on the 10th of January, and it is estimated that approximately 35 thousand passengers will fly this new route – offered by LATAM Airlines Peru – over the course of 2019. “We will continue to improve Peru’s national and international aerial connectivity, and we will continue to propel the development of significant projects that promote the economic growth of the locality,” confirmed van Oordt.
