Continuing with its expansion plans, Inca Rail – a business dedicated to creating memorable experiences from Cusco and Ollantaytambo to Machu Picchu – has implemented new waiting areas on site, in order to improve service for clients traveling on The Private, The First Class, The 360, and The Voyager services.

Four new waiting areas have been inaugurated: a special space for The Private and The First-Class services, an area that will function as a Coffee Bar Station in the near future, and an area for The 360 and The Voyager services. All rooms are equipped WIFI and feature screens that share important tourism information, as well as entertainment.

The areas were built in the same style as all Inca Rail constructions, using artisanally treated wood, stainless steel sheets, local stones, traditional mud finishings, and roof tops built in typical local fashion: with dovetail wood, straw, mud, lime, cement and gravel.

“Inca Rail always looks to provide travelers with a unique experience. Thus, we consider it important to create new spaces that cater to comfort and rest – especially in the months of January to March, in which Ollantaytambo’s train station sees an influx of travelers due to the closing of Cusco’s station,” stated Maritza Montero, Director of Sales and Marketing at Inca Rail.
