Bloggers travel to Chachapoyas with Viajes Pacifico
This month we will travel to Chachapoyas with top social media bloggers experts in travel and tourism.
Their journey began at Jaén Airport, where they were welcomed by our Transportation Service. It took them 20-minutes to get to the hotel where they would stay for a week (Hotel Casa Hacienda Achamaqui). The hotel is strategically located near the most important tourist attractions of the region so they can visit all of them.
The bloggers who accompanied us during this trip to Chachapoyas were: Zsa Zsa Frayssinet, Joana Boloña, Monkeys on Board, Willi Reaño and Mariela Goyenechea from Rumbos Magazine. They were able to enjoy a week surrounded by nature and the legacy of Chachapoyas.
The tour included the most representative destinations of the region. They were always accompanied by our guides, who know every detail about these destinations in the region.
Some of the destinations were: Gocta waterfall, considered one of the highest waterfalls in the world; Kuélap Fortress, a pre-Inca construction with 20 meter high impenetrable walls; Karajia sarcophagi, tombs at the edge of a mountain where people placed their loved ones and important personalities; and the cavern of Quiocta, a long tour where you can see stalactites, stalagmites and cave paintings.
To finish our expedition to Chachapoyas, we made a campfire and spent one night in the 17 hectares of nature at Casa Hacienda Achamaqui Hotel; we were surrounded by mountainous forests and slept to the lullaby of the Utcubamba River.
