AVIANCA incorporates the A320Neo Airbus in its operations within Peru
Avianca has incorporated the A320Neo Airbus plane into its fleet operating within Peru. On this past 16th of May, Flights from Lima to Cusco began on the 153-seater aircraft, which will begin flights to international destinations in the upcoming months. “The incorporation of this plane, with its NEO technology, is a testament to Avianca’s commitment to Peru. With the addition of this plane to the fleet, Avianca looks to further improve operational efficiency, while offering its passengers increased comfort and a more modern entertainment system,” commented Nissim Jabiles, director of Avianca in Peru, Ecuador, and Brazil. The A320Neo Airbus features eco-efficient motors that allow for up to 15% less in fuel consumption, as well as diminished sound and environmental contamination – specifically emitting 50% less noise pollution, and emitting nearly 5,000 tones less of CO2 gasses per year.
